OrbitPrivacy Policy
This policy explains what Ogan Kurtulus ("we") collects through Orbit and why.
What we collect
- Birth details you enter for yourself and for people you check (name, birth date, optional time and city). Used to calculate charts and readings.
- Email address, to save your reading, send receipts and launch news.
- Purchase information, processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record). We never see or store your full card details.
- Usage analytics (pages and steps viewed, device type, approximate location from IP) via PostHog, to improve the product. No ad tracking, and we don't sell personal data.
How it is processed
Data is stored with Google Firebase / Google Cloud. AI readings are generated by Google's Gemini API from chart data (signs, placements, first names); payment by Paddle; analytics by PostHog. These providers act on our behalf.
Birthday links
When someone answers a Orbit birthday link, their details are shared only with the person who sent it and deleted from our servers once delivered (or after 30 days if unused).
Retention and your rights
We keep readings while your account or subscription is active and for up to 24 months after, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. You can request access, correction or deletion of your data, and California residents can exercise their CCPA rights, by emailing support@calnoteapp.com.
Children
Orbit is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
